A warm and friendly welcome will greet you when you arrive at Cairnmuir Motor Camp.
Steve and Martine are the camp management team , live onsite and are there for all your needs.

Cairnmuir Motor Camp is set on approx 7 hectares of spacious grounds amongst mature trees,on a sunny plateau high above the banks of the Bannockburn Arm of Lake Dunstan.
Whether you need a quiet holiday spot for the whole family or a weekend getway , there is so much Cromwell and surrounds has to offer both for our New Zealand tourists and our Kiwi families alike.
We are ideally situated just out of Cromwell township, close enough for daily supplies and yet far away enough to be in another world.
The Bannockburn Arm provides a great spot for swimming, fishing, watersports , and just enjoying the warm summer temperatures Central Otago usually offers.
You will find our camp is kept clean and tidy and the camp management are very approachable for all your needs.
The weeping willows around the edge of the lake provide some welcome sunshade, great spots for picnics or just lazing around.
Access to the lake can be made either by road 500 m back from camp entrance or by foot access with a track towards the west boundary of the camp.
Views of the inlet and surrounding area are stunning, no matter what the season.
We are lucky enough to be surrounded by both award winning vineyards and two olive groves, for sales and tasting, Cairnmuir Olives and Saffron Farm.
Pinot Noir is the main wine variety grown in this region, along with the other subregions nearby of Bendigo, and Lowburn, just a short drive away.
Most vineyards are also growing smaller blocks of Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, so they have something for everyone's tastes.
Within walking distance from the camp are wonderful vineyards all with tasting rooms.

The Bannockburn Pub, located within Bannockburn township itself, offers a new menu, with something for everyone on the menu, and have earned themselves quite a reputation for their meals without being too pricey. They are well worth considering when wanting to dine out close by.
