Your on site hosts, Steve & Martine and their family welcome you to Cairnmuir Motor Camp and hope your stay is just what you are looking for.
Cairnmuir Motor Camp is set on approx 7 hectares of spacious grounds amongst mature trees,on a sunny plateau above the banks of the Bannockburn Arm of Lake Dunstan.
We are ideally situated just out of Cromwell township, close enough for daily supplies and yet far away enough to be in another world.
The Bannockburn Arm provides a great spot for swimming, fishing, watersports .
Boating activities during the summer months is very popular.
The weeping willows around the edge of the lake provide some welcome sunshade, great spots for picnics or just lazing around.
Access to the lake can be made either by road 500 m back from camp entrance or by foot access with a track towards the west boundary of the camp. Views of the inlet and surrounding area are stunning, no matter what the season.
We are lucky enough to be surrounded by award winning lush green vineyards.
The Central Otago wineries are well known for their award winning Pinot Noir wines.
Within walking distance from the camp are wonderful vineyards all with tasting rooms.

Many of our guests come back very happy from these wine tastings!!
"Carrick Winery" compliments their vineyard setting with a restaurant offering lunches and is open most days, however bookings are essential.
